Moisture Meter and Thermal Imaging Camera
We use a Moisture Meter during our inspections to measure levels of moisture in the home and find the location of possible moisture intrusion or water damage. Additionally, we offer Thermal Imaging as a complimentary service when called for in relation to moisture-related issues.
Additional Inspection Services
Re-Inspection
Once we have completed a General Home Inspection, the buyer and seller will agree upon repairs that the seller should make before moving forward with closing a deal. A Re-Inspection can be scheduled after repairs have been made to offer the buyer additional peace of mind. During the Re-Inspection, we check that all repairs were completed accurately and safely.
Third-Party Radon Testing
Radon is a toxic gas that can cause health issues as severe as lung cancer in exposed individuals. It cannot be seen, smelled, or tasted, so professional testing and equipment are required. Radon testing services are provided through a third-party contractor who collects samples and completes analysis.
Pre-Listing Inspection
Sellers should schedule a Pre-Listing Inspection if they want to find and address the issues in their home before potential buyers get the chance to discover them first. We will inspect the home and offer our advice about the repairs the seller should go ahead and make. This makes the home more attractive to buyers and more valuable once it’s listed.
New Construction Inspection
We are NRS (New Residential Structures) certified and provide New Construction Inspections for newly-built homes. The inspection takes place before the final construction walkthrough is scheduled. We inspect the home for any defects or oversights that could have been made, ensuring that the builder has time to address these issues before the walkthrough.
